Dialogues (2010- ) is a large series of small art collages (3500+ and still increasing). They are meant to be a collection of ‘artefacts’ balancing between time and space, the past and the future, nature and culture. The material that is used was never meant to be unique; it is often blurry, fragmentary and abstract. Whereas the 2014 series still existed of two pieces linked to each other as ‘dogtags’, in 2015 the format has turned into that of an identitycard. As from 2017 on the Dialogue becomes more realistic and figurative – the emphasis is now on the process of the dialogue – who is speaking, who is listening, who is who ?
